A Debt Repaid is a Side Quest in Ghost of Tsushima (GoT). Tales of Tsushima are categorized as the typical side quests of the game, these are optional where players partake through side activities of the game that advances side plots of the game. Side Quests heavily focuses on stories that revolve around NPCs encountered throughout the game. Completing a side quest rewards Jin with unique items and many more.

A Debt Repaid Walkthrough
Follow Gomyo to the Camp
- This quest can be obtained during exploration in the 2nd act of the game.
- Travel to Kawamata Village and investigate the camp located on the east side of the village.
- You'll find a bandit next to a fallen caravan by the bamboo forest. Speak to him and you'll learn that he's responsible for killing his comrades and wishes to kill the rest to avenge his family.
- After speaking to him, follow Gomyo to the bandit camp and scout the area.
Defend Gomyo
- Upon reaching the survey area, you'll need to scout the camp for a couple of things.
- On the right, you'll find a small group of bandits that are lookouts for trespassers.
- On the left side, you'll find a building where they keep all their stolen resources and supplies.
- And on the far left side, is the bandit's den and their leader's hut, Gorohachi.
- Once you've surveyed all four points, Gomyo will start to attack them head-on. Chase after him and help him kill the bandits. Make sure he doesn't die! Leaving him to die will cause the quest to fail.
- After killing the two groups, Jin asks Gomyo to remain quiet. This time, you'll be able to assess the situation ahead and try to sneak in the camp and assassinate them one by one.
- You'll be facing swordsmen, archers, and spearmen here. Try to take out the archers first then switch between Stone Stance if you are fighting swordsmen and then use Wind Stance against spearmen.
- Upon killing all the bandits in their camp, head to Gorohachi's house and search for him. You'll won't find him in the house when you check inside, but when you step out, you'll see him from afar with more bandits and Straw Hat ronin.
- Ready an explosive arrow and shoot it at them since they'll charge in as a group. This will make it easier for you to dispatch the bandits.
- After you kill all of the enemies, a cutscene will then trigger and Jin will find that Gomyo is severely injured.
- He then asks Jin one last favor which is to burn his body by the ocean - this completes the side quest.
