A Wealthy Man Has All He Needs Walkthrough

Speak with each Refugee

  • You'll be able to obtain this side quest from finding the survivor camp outside Umugi Cove, or by obtaining a rumor from a peasant at the Kechi Fishing Village.
  • When you reach the survivor's camp, you'll find a refugee standing on a rock threatening the other survivors at the camp. Speak to the man named Saburo to begin the quest.
  • Speak to each refugee in the camp about the family of Saburo. Once you've asked a couple of them, one of the refugees will begin to walk away and start to run.
  • Chase after him, ready your bow and shoot him on the leg to stop him from running. A single shot will do to stop him, next, approach the man then speak to him.
  • You'll learn that the smugglers took Saburo's family to Umugi Beach.

Travel to Umugi Beach

  • The location is automatically marked on the map which is northeast from the camp.
  • When you arrive at the smuggler's hideout by the beach, you'll have to kill the enemies and investigate the area.
  • Head to the watchtower by the shore and you'll see more ronin who's about to murder two hostages. Kill them and then set them free.

Look for Saburo’s Family

  • Jin asks the hostages about Saburo's family but they'll mention that they were just alone.
  • From where the hostages were, check the west side of the area and you'll find the bodies of Saburo's wife and son on a large rock who was recently killed by the smugglers.
  • After finding them, head back to the survivor's camp and speak to Saburo. This ends and completes the side quest.
