Empty Baskets is a Side Quest in Ghost of Tsushima (GoT). Tales of Tsushima are categorized as the typical side quests of the game, these are optional where players partake through side activities of the game that advances side plots of the game. Side Quests heavily focuses on stories that revolve around NPCs encountered throughout the game. Completing a side quest rewards Jin with unique items and many more.

Bandits stole food from a lone woman in Tsutsu. When I promised to recover her food, she asked me to not harm the thieves. I made no promises.

• Travel northeast toward the woods
• Search for the bandits
• Enter the woods
• Search for the stolen food

Empty Baskets Walkthrough

Listen to the Peasant Woman

• Head to the survivor's camp near Jade Hills.
• Speak to the peasant woman who's sitting near a cart. She'll mention that there's a widow living on the outskirts of Tsutsu. Jin offers to check up on her since she lives alone and has no means of securing food for herself.
• The location of the woman will then automatically marked on the map.
• You can open the journal to mark the location by tracking the title of the side quest. But on the map, it's located in between the Kishi Grasslands and Lake Kunehama.

Travel northeast toward the woods

• Upon reaching the home of the woman, you'll find her weeping by the porch.
• Speak to her and the quest will begin, you'll learn that the bandits took her food.
• After the cutscene, travel northeast towards the woods to track down the bandits.
• You'll eventually reach a small camp with a small group of bandits. Now the choice is up to you if you would like to approach this head-on or sneak behind them and kill them one at a time.
• You can also avoid a fight and sneak to their camp and search for the stolen food. You'll find the bundle of rice near the sleeping bandit.
• After collecting the rice, simply return to the woman to complete this side quest.
• You'll be rewarded with a Minor Legend Increase and x10 Linen.
