|Collectible Type||Mongol Artifact|
Fire Lance is a Mongol Artifact in Ghost of Tsushima (GoT). A Mongol artifact is a collectible item - in Jin's Journey, players will come across Mongol Artifacts that allows the player to learn more about the culture and background of the Mongols. The purpose of these artifacts is to be collected and to unlock a trophy for collecting it all. There are 50 artifacts that can be found in forts, encampments, and dwellings across the island.
The Fire Lance first appeared as a small gunpowder pyrotechnic device attached to a spear in order to shock opponents at the state of melee engagements.
With successive advances over the past 300-400 years, the pyrotechnic device has become more powerful. Current fire lances dispense with the spear tip, instead discharging flame, debris, and pellets at a range about ten feet.
