Flesh and Stone Walkthrough

Locate the Sculptor’s Home

  • To start off, travel east from Old Toyotama Hills and you'll find the son of Master Izo's son who's crying next to a destroyed statue of Buddha. Speak to him to begin the quest.
  • You'll need to head to the sculptor's home and obtain the tools in order for Mamoru to fix the statue.
  • Head up the stone stairs and towards a hill and you'll find Master Izo's home which is guarded by Mongol guards. There's just a couple of them here so you can challenge them to a standoff then kill the remaining Mongols.
  • After killing the Mongols, head towards Master Izo's forge which is near the house and you'll find Master Izo working on a sculpture for Kublai Khan.

Lead Sculptor to the broken statue

  • After speaking to him, escort Master Izo to the broken statue where his son is.
  • When you arrive, more Mongol soldiers have already gathered in the area.
  • Again, there's only a couple of them here so challenging them to a standoff will easily thin out their numbers.
  • After you've killed all of the soldiers, you'll find that Mamoru has been killed by the Mongols.
  • Speak to Master Izo to complete this quest.
