Horse Skull is a Mongol Artifact in Ghost of Tsushima (GoT). A Mongol artifact is a collectible item - in Jin's Journey, players will come across Mongol Artifacts that allows the player to learn more about the culture and background of the Mongols. The purpose of these artifacts is to be collected and to unlock a trophy for collecting it all. There are 50 artifacts that can be found in forts, encampments, and dwellings across the island.
The spirits of dead Mongolian horses are believed to be able to hurt or help their former owners, and Mongol warriors take great care with their remains. Respect is often shown to a fallen horse by placing the skull on an ovoo, a sacred stone heap important to the Mongols' shamanistic religion.

- Found at an enemy camp near the Woodcutter Shelter in Toyotama.

- Collecting at least 20 artifacts unlocks the "Know Your Enemy" Trophy/Achievement.
