Kaede is a boss in Ghost of Tsushima (GoT). In Ghost of Tsushima, boss encounters are categorized as a duel where the boss and Jin battle in a traditional sword-fight. Players will not be able to use tools here, but any mechanic that supports melee combat can be used, such as parrying, dodging, using Combat Stances and Samurai Techniques.

How to Beat Kaede
Kaede Boss Guide:
Kaede's block can be broken with a flurry of attacks, allowing Jin to attack her while she is vulnerable.
She will also try to trick you by sheathing her blade and following up with an unblockable attack when you're within her range. You can avoid getting hit if you dodge at the right time and follow up with a counterattack.
Take your time to defeat her, be patient, and when there's an opening, use it as your opportunity to take her down.
After defeating her, another cutscene will trigger, and Kaede will surrender.
Remember, this fight won't end with your opponent's death. Once you deplete all of her health points, Kaede will stop the duel and start talking.
