• Norio is one of the few remaining warrior monks of Cedar Temple.
• Norio is a warrior monk who serves and protects the Cedar Temple of Tsushima alongside his older brother, Enjo.
• Although he is a kind and compassionate monk, his skills in combat and the ability to wield a Naginata, makes him a fierce warrior.
• After being saved by Jin at Fort Ito, he aids Jin in battling the Mongols and reclaiming the island of Tsushima.
