Ryuzo is an NPC in Ghost of Tsushima (GoT). NPCs are non-playable characters that Jin Sakai interacts with. NPCs are characters that add contrast to the game's story and they provide information, some give quests, while others are special NPCs whom you can trade goods with or request for certain services.

Ryuzo Information

• Ryuzo is a childhood friend of Jin Sakai who joined the Straw Hats and became the group's leader.
• When Ryuzo and Jin were young, they joined Lord Nagao's tournament and became bitter after losing to his friend, Jin.
• At a young age, he became a ronin and joined the Straw Hats. Eventually, when their leader died, he took over the gorup.
• During the Mongols invasion of Tsushima island, the members of the Straw Hats started to leave the group one at a time due to losing resources, especially food. This lead to Ryuzo in making a decision that was painful for Jin to find out.
• Ryuzo who was only looking out for his men, turned against Jin and agreed to help Khotun Khan in killing him in exchange for resources.
