The Proud Do Not Endure is a Side Quest in Ghost of Tsushima (GoT). Tales of Tsushima are categorized as the typical side quests of the game, these are optional where players partake through side activities of the game that advances side plots of the game. Side Quests heavily focuses on stories that revolve around NPCs encountered throughout the game. Completing a side quest rewards Jin with unique items and many more.

The Proud Do Not Endure Walkthrough
Travel with Yuriko
- This quest is available after completing the main quest "Ghosts From The Past".
- Yuriko can be found at her camp in Kubara Forest.
- After you complete the main quest, speak to Yuriko and ride with her to gather the Spider Lilies.
- Once you arrive at the cemetery, you'll find some Mongols lurking around the area.
- Simply challenge them to a standoff and kill the remaining enemies. After killing the group, you'll need to clear out the remaining Mongols in the cemetery.
- There's a lot of them here, so try to stay on high ground and use your bow to assassinate them.
- After killing all of the Mongols, return to Yuriko to trigger a cutscene.
Gather nearby Spider Lilies
- Continue traveling with Yuriko towards the other cemetery where the Spider Lilies are.
- Along the way, you'll stop by a river where Yuriko and Jin will reflect on some memories.
- After the cutscene, continue riding with Yuriko and follow her to the cemetery where you'll reach the Serene Forest.
- When you arrive, head towards the marked areas and gather flowers for Yuriko. You'll also find a Singing Cricket nearby.
- After you've gathered all the flowers, head back to Yuriko and you'll travel to the Shimura cemetery with her.
Clear the Camp of your Foes
- When you reach the riverside farm, Jin will encounter Mongols.
- Yuriko, on the other hand, brews up a new poison that you can use against enemies. This is the Hallucination Dart which causes your target to enter a violent rage and attacks their allies.
- Be careful when sneaking into this camp, there's a hawk here that's flying on the left side of the camp. You can throw a Kunai at it to kill it.
- Position yourself on a roof and use the Hallucination Dart on one of the Mongols and watch them turn on each other.
- After you've cleared the camp, return to Yuriko and continue towards the Shimura cemetery.
Write a Poem with Yuriko
- When you reach the cemetery, follow Yuriko to the grave of the warriors and compose a Haiku with her.
- Another cutscene will then trigger after you compose the haiku and you'll complete this side quest.
- The second and last tale for Yuriko, The Art of Seeing will then be available, just speak to her after completing this side quest.
