The Sister Betrayed is a Side Quest in Ghost of Tsushima (GoT). Tales of Tsushima are categorized as the typical side quests of the game, these are optional where players partake through side activities of the game that advances side plots of the game. Side Quests heavily focuses on stories that revolve around NPCs encountered throughout the game. Completing a side quest rewards Jin with unique items and many more.
A Masako Tale (9 of 9).
Lady Masasko has tracked her sister to clan Kikuchi’s old fort. We will make our way there and confront her. mask appears determine to do what she must. But her sister is the only family she has left… a sacrifice that will bring honour, but with it a great burden.

The Sister Betrayed Walkthrough
Find Masako at Fort Kaminodake
- To obtain this quest, complete the 2nd act of the game as well as the following quests: "The Conspirator" and "Wolves at the Gates".
- Trafvel to Fort Kaminodake and speak to Masako who's praying at an altar under the wooden bridge of the fort.
- After the cutscene, ride with Masako and follow her to Clan Kikuchi's old fort.
Follow Masako to the Kikuchi Estate
- When you arrive at Sago Forest, you'll dismount your horse and continue on foot towards the fort.
- Lady Masako will then fight the samurai head-on when you reach the front of the fort. Join her and kill the guards.
- After killing all of the guards, approach the gate and help Masako open it to enter the fort.
Defeat the Samuari
- Fueled with anger and rage, Masako once again shouts for Lady Hana and more guards will appear to fight you.
- Make sure to use Stone Stance against thes swordsmen. Continue fighting the enemies and push forward towards the dojo.
- There will be more guards inside the dojo. Kill them, then speak to the woman who's inside.
- After speaking to the woman, follow Masako up the hill until you reach Lady Hana's estate.
- Lady Masako chases after her sister while you fight Lady Hana's men. They're a group of swordsmen, so it'll be easy for you to kill. Just remember to dodge when you see them sheathe their katana since they will unleash an unblockable attack.
- After you kill Hana's men, head up the estate and enter the house. You'll find a couple of supplies here.
- Head towards the inner room and another cutscene will trigger - this ends the side quest as well as Masako's tale.
