Sakai Katana is a Weapon in Ghost of Tsushima (GoT). The Sakai Katana is an heirloom that has been used in countless generations by the Sakai clan, now, Jin Sakai wields the blade to cut down his enemies. There are various weapons in the game that Jin can discover and use in battle, as the game progresses, players can also upgrade the level of each weapon to unlock more perks and to increase the effectiveness of the weapon.
For generations, the head of the Sakai clan has wielded this matcheless blade.
Sakai Katana Information
- Can be upgraded to a max level of 7.
- The Sakai Katana can be customized by attaching Omamori Charms to obtain unique perks.
- For customization, the saya or scabbard of the katana can be changed by equipping Sword Kits.
- Players will need to obtain a certain amount of Resources and find a swordsmith to upgrade the level of this weapon.
- The Sakai Katana can hold up to 6 charm slots. The slots can be unlocked by discovering and praying at Inari Shrines.
