Wolves at the Gates is a Main Quest in Ghost of Tsushima (GoT). Main Quests in Ghost of Tsushima (GoT) are categorized as "Jin's Journey", these are highlighted in Gold and focuses on the main campaign of the game. Wolves at the Gates Walkthrough

Travel to Sago Prefecture

• This quest is available after completing Honor and Ash.
• You will find yourself at Jogaku Temple and if you need to, check the merchants for upgrades.
• To begin the quest, speak to Yuna who's also at the temple, standing by the campfire.
• After the cutscene, approach the nearby gift altar to collect gifts from the townspeople. It's just next to Yuna.
• Open your map to track your next objective which is to travel to Sago Prefecture and find Takeshi's camp.
• You'll need to climb the mountain near the Crane Mountain Shrine to find his camp. Once you've found it, speak to Takeshi.

Travel to Fort Kaminodake

• After speaking to him, follow him towards a cliff overlook and continue speaking to him.
• Your next objective is to travel to For Kaminodake and when you're near, meet Takeshi's hunters by the lumber camp.
• When you reach the camp of the hunters, use the iron hook to swing onto the walls and climb up to where the hunters are.
• Head towards the survey point and scout the area. Look to your left to find a ridge, and on the right, you'll scout for a vantage point on the roof - after scouting the area, you'll start to infiltrate the area.
• You can either sneak inside and take them out by using your stealth tactics or just attack them head-on. Just be ready to fight a bunch of enemies here if you do decide to storm in. Remember to change your combat stance accordingly.
• The goal is to clear the outer section of the fort first and then regroup with the hunters once it's all clear.

Kill the Mongols

• Right after the cutscene, a Mongol patrol will then arrive. Just kill them all then advance through the fort along with the hunters until you reach the lookout.
• Investigate the fight at the Toyotama gate where you'll see explosions on the bridge. Next, climb the ladder of the building on the right to reach the top and survey the keep from the balcony. First, you'll see the Hwacha, then the tree which you can grapple onto to cross.
• Once you've scouted the area, jump towards the tree and swing across. Work your way towards the keep from underneath until you reach the keep.
• Hide behind the tall grass and wait for one of the guards to get near you. Assassinate the guard and then move forward towards the hwacha. There's another guard here that you'll need to kill.
• After clearing the area, approach the hwacha, and operate it. From here you can use it to kill the remaining Mongo guards with the device.
• Mongol reinforcements will then arrive after killing the first group. Immediately look to your right from the hwacha and shoot the archers.
• Next, proceed to the marked location and regroup with your allies, Masako, Ishikawa, Kenji, Yuna, and Norio.
• Help your allies and kill the remaining Mongol soldiers to complete this main quest.
