Animal Sanctuaries | Ghost of Tsushima Wiki

Animal Sanctuaries in Ghost of Tsushima (GoT) are special hidden locations that can be found on Iki Island. Animal Sanctuaries are hidden locations that are exclusive to the Director's Cut game edition or by purchasing the the Iki Island Expansion DLC separately. Animal Sanctuaries are where Jin finds friendly animals where he needs to play the flute in order to get in contact with it.

Animal Sanctuaries Information

• Animal Sanctuaries are scattered across Iki Island.
• There are 9 Sanctuaries that can be found in the game.
• When you find an animal sanctuary, you will need to play the flute for the animals and then you can pet them.
• In some cases, you will need to release them if they are inside a cage, or defeat enemies that are guarding the area.
• In order to play the flute, you will need to tilt the controller up and down to follow the wave.
• Finding all 9 sanctuaries unlocks the Chiyoko's Song Trophy.
• This new exploration feature is exclusive to the DLC and players must own either the physical copy of the Director's Cut game edition which includes the expansion or separately purchased the Iki Island Expansion DLC.
