Status Effects for Ghost of Tsushima features information on the various elemental effects and status ailments that can be inflicted against both enemies and players. Status Effects are categorized in Beneficial Status Effects and Status Ailments. Beneficial Status Effects provide buffs, while Status Ailments causes negative effects to both an enemy or hero. This page covers a list of all the Status Effects in the game.
Ghost of Tsushima Status Effects
In Ghost of Tsushima, there is only a minimum of status effects. First off is the fire negative status effect. If Jin is caught in flames, immediately roll on the ground to extinguish it. Take note that players can also set their enemies on fire by shooting Fire Arrows or attacking enemies after igniting your sword with the Way of the Flame. Second is the use of the Blowgun by shooting two types of Blow Darts:
Darts cannot be bought from merchants or found as loot in the game world.
- They are available after you get the blowgun.
- The poisoned dart contains a deadly poison. The victim, who was hit by the dart, will start spitting blood and die in agony after a while.
- The death of an enemy can cause terror debuff among other enemies.
- The hallucination darts turns the enemies against each other due to the hallucinations.
- Darts of this type are perfect for attacking larger enemies who will be able to survive a bit longer and kill at least one of their allies.
- Instead, you have to find such things as:
- Purple flowers to get more poison darts.
- Orange flowers to get more hallucination darts.
In both cases, Jin will automatically create darts if the proper flowers were picked. This is the only type of ammo that can be obtained by using crafting. Apart from that, you can find a table below that lists the various Omamori Charms that provide Jin with different effects when it is equipped.
