Samurai Techniques in Ghost of Tsushima (GoT) is a set of skills that focus on unlocking combat and exploration tactics that are related to the path of the "Samurai". The Samurai Combat techniques are divided into three types which are "Deflection", "Evasion", and "Mythic" that improves Jin's capability in combat. While Exploration techniques focus on upgrading the power of the guiding wind to increase Jin's awareness towards exploring Tsushima Island. There are 18 combat techniques that can be unlocked, while exploration has a total of 5 skills. Players will need to obtain Technique Points through exploration, story progression, and completing quests in order to unlock these skills. Deflection
The techniques under Deflection focus on upgrading Jin's capability of defense against enemy attacks in battle.
Evasion
The skills under Evasion allow Jin to learn various movements when it comes to dodging. Discover new evasion skills such as a follow-up attack and more.
Mythic
Unlock legendary combat arts to strengthen Jin's capability in combat, making him an unstoppable force who can adapt to any given situation. Some legendary combat arts require Resolve in order to unleash the mythic technique.
Exploration
Exploration techniques increase Jin's capability of harnessing the power of the Guiding Wind. Invest in unlocking exploration techniques to further help Jin in discovering secrets, such as finding Inari Shrines. and many more.
