Bankhar Dog is a Mongol Artifact in Ghost of Tsushima (GoT). A Mongol artifact is a collectible item - in Jin's Journey, players will come across Mongol Artifacts that allows the player to learn more about the culture and background of the Mongols. The purpose of these artifacts is to be collected and to unlock a trophy for collecting it all. There are 50 artifacts that can be found in forts, encampments, and dwellings across the island.
Often used by nomadic herders to protect their livestock, the bankhar was first bred as a working dog in Mongolia. With the expansion of the empire, the breed is used on the battlefield to sniff out and attack nearby enemies.
