Yasuhira Koga is a boss in Ghost of Tsushima (GoT). In Ghost of Tsushima, boss encounters are categorized as a duel where the boss and Jin battle in a traditional sword-fight. Players will not be able to use tools here, but any mechanic that supports melee combat can be used, such as parrying, dodging, using Combat Stances and Samurai Techniques.

How to Beat Yasuhira Koga
Yasuhira Koga Boss Guide:
Yasuhira Koga isn't a difficult opponent. All you have to do is watch his quick attacks.
Try to knock him off balance. That way you give yourself a chance to hit him with some heavy strikes.
Make sure to always block in this duel. Yasuhira is quite agile and is able to deliver a four slash combo.
The best time to counter him is when he uses an unblockable attack where he'll charge towards Jin. You'll identify this when a red line appears on Yasuhira.
If this happens, side-step or dodge then follow up with an attack.
Once you're about to defeat him, Jin will comment that he now understands the technique and you'll be prompted to use the Heavenly Strike.
Press the △ + ◯ button to use Heavenly Strike to finish the fight.
It is also a good idea not to give him any time to rest. Just keep hitting him to deplete his stamina and kill as quickly as possible.
