A Place to Call Home Walkthrough

Rescue the family from the Mongols

You can obtain the location of this quest by listening to the rumors of one of the townspeople at the Golden Temple.
The location is on the east side of Golden Temple. You'll need to travel there by mount or Fast Travel to the nearest Fox Den.
When you're near the objective, you'll see a man run towards you for help. Speak to him and you'll learn that Mongols have raided his house.
With the help of Guiding Wind, follow it until you reach the house of the man. You will need to eliminate the Mongols around the house and save the family.
It is better to use stealth tactics against them, but you can also challenge one of them to a standoff then kill the rest head-on.

Speak with the family in the home

After killing all the enemies, head inside the house and you'll find that the family isn't there.
Go outside the house and head towards the docks, you'll find some fresh laundry bags. You'll also find a trail of footprints covered in blood.
Follow it and you'll find a child's toy. Jin mentions that his family didn't make it and that he needs to tell the man about the news.
Speak to the man who's near the docks - this will also complete this side quest.
