The Last Warrior Monk is a Side Quest in Ghost of Tsushima (GoT). Tales of Tsushima are categorized as the typical side quests of the game, these are optional where players partake through side activities of the game that advances side plots of the game. The Last Warrior Monk Walkthrough

Meet Norio in Akashima Village

You'll obtain this side quest when you begin the second act of the game.
Open your map to track the objective or select it in the Journal section of the menu.
When you arrive, speak to Norio to begin the quest. After the cutscene, follow him through the town and a cutscene will trigger.
After the cutscene, you'll need to pick up the Mongol's trail to track them.

Follow the Mongols’ trail

When you start to track the footprints, Norio will eventually see them and track it himself.
You'll reach the tea fields and eventually, find a group of Mongols who are holding a group of monks.
If you decide to fight them head-on make sure to keep an eye out for any Mongol soldier who will try to assassinate the monks.
Make sure that they're not killed. You'll fail the mission if they are slain.
After clearing the area, free the monks and Mongol reinforcements will arrive.
Protect the monks and kill the remaining Mongols to complete this quest.
